Max Shumsky is children's books writer and illustrator. He started drawing just like any other kid on the block. But his parents decided to take that child's interest a step further, and so the journey into world of art has started! In the city of Leningrad of Russia he went to night Art school for youth for 4 years, after school he got in to restoration college of Saint Petersburg Russia and majored in restoration of stone works with a red diploma. At the same time, while in college he was attending institute of art "Myhinskoe" courses of pencil drawing, he also took classes at Academy of Art of Saint Petersburg Russia for painting, composition and architectural drawing. He was fortunate to meet and become an apprentice of an artist, painter, monumentalist V.I. Pesarev. And now, Max Shumsky would like to share his love for art with you!
